This is the ship that we took on a 12 hour ferry ride to Kodiak from Homer. We had to drive to Homer at 700 in the morning, to check in for the ferry at 830. The ferry left port at 1030. There were not to many passengers on the ship. So of course, we had quite the digs. We had a 4 berth cabin with a bath. My sister was with us helping to entertain the kids. She is the craft queen! They had art work and jewelry to show off. There was a small movie room, cafe, lounge, bar, observation deck, and a solarium. Even for a long trip, we enjoyed the scenery and thewhale watching was amazing. We left on Saturday morning and left 530 on Monday night. The ferry comes and goes on a schedule so we had to plan around that. It was a quick trip, but we saw a lot and had a great time.
